Realifecam Video Hunt | 800+ Videos | #Motherload

That's very true, but that wasn't the purpose of the post. The post
wasn't intended for people to download videos. It was just to show
the four different URLs they could use to get to the site.

You probably noticed I was able to show a text version of the URLs
by deactivating the links. In order to use them, people have to copy
and paste the text. What I would prefer is to have them be active
links, instead.

I appreciate you looking into it. Thanks.

The only way the link will post is by using the Code Function to the left of the Emoji in the Edit and leave it as HTML

Do I actually have to know HTML in order to make this work? I'm not
getting an active link in the post. I click the Code function, I put in
the URL and I click Insert into post. But, when I submit the post, it
just shows up as text, instead of an active link. I don't know the
HTML language.

Since the Videos are embedded there's no other way around to get a link posted instead of the Video Player.  The only way the link will fit in without the Video Player is if the Site has their Videos in an .avi format as the Embedded Player does not Support .avi   (Audio Video Interleave)

So, is that a, "Yes, you need to know HTML to make this work?"

If the Host Site made their Videos in an .avi Format the Link would show on the Post but since they are done in .mp4 the Embedded Player will show the Video.  It does that in all posts even in the Attachments.

No, I mean if I use the Code function, do I need to know HTML to make
it post the link, instead of embedding the video?

The only way the link will show is where it was done with the HTML.  Then someone would have to copy that address into their web browser.

All you have to do is right click and "open video in new tab".  The address should read "

". Change "604" to any number from "001" to  "799"

Sorry, the Admin did an update which turned the links into embedded videos so the links aren't visible anymore.

Here is the URL:

Screen_Shot_11-12-17_at_03.26_PM.png

All you have do to is change the number to something between 1 - 899. When you paste the link here it will show up as a video.
