If you miss the video on CC then you can go to hotscopes.com and see the video there. Re-uploads on CC just clutter up the pages. Thanks

Your hotscopes site is a huge spam-bot.  Why would anyone want to go there?

I think you'll probably just have to learn to live with the clutter.  It's not the fault of CC members that the original link stops working after a short time.

If you get hotscopes to stop bombarding users with something like 20 popups for every click on a link, maybe more people will start using the site and you will be able to live here clutter-free.

I don't care about the "clutter", at all. In fact, I'm glad people are nice
enough to reload videos when requested.

However, I decided to test your theory about Hotscopes and popups.
I chose 10 videos at random from the Hotscopes site and played each
one. On each video, I received exactly one popup, which I instantly
eliminated by pressing Ctrl+W. And, when I say "instantly" I mean
before the page could even load. That's a far cry from the 200 popups
you said I would get.

As I said, I don't care, at all, about the reload requests, they're easily
avoided and they serve a useful purpose. But, I'd say Hotscopes is
an excellent source for videos. Many of which would never be
posted on CC for fear of losing a subscription and being banned.

People here have a silly down on hotscopes. They justify it all sorts of ways and the popup myth is just one of them.

Agreed @Barry Elephant I have been using it for months and have only on occasion had a pop-up, which my F-secure system immediately blocks. If other members are having problems with pop-ups or re-directs then they seriously need to have their security updated. But good security does not come cheap so most of them would rather just complain....

The Videos can still be placed on the Forum but they just have to be Downloaded from the Site and Re-Uploaded using a Host such as Mab.to or ZippyShare or similar sites.  If Attachments are used then they have to be placed in the Premium Members Only Boards and not Directly in Open Forum Boards.

Direct Links to Tube Sites will be removed.

You're right, they could be posted using the same process used to
post any video on RLC, but that's not what I meant. They wouldn't
be posted on CC - at least not on the public forum - because they're
recorded from paid cameras, instead of the free cams.

I see what you mean now. Not very often a Video gets posted from a Paid Area unless the Uploader has Money to Burn on RLC Accounts.
