Through CC I've seen, VHTV is now working with professionals.

VHTV says they don't hire pornstars or anyone with a background in porn and maybe they don't hire official, professional pornstars, but these are clearly professional camstars. Along with Kiki and Matilda and others who cam, they have thousands of CB followers. Is there really a significant difference between a pornstar and a camstar? You can purchase camstar porn videos on many outlets. It is sex work with the intent to sell. Can you really say that a camstar does not have a background in porn? Aren't pornstars "real" people too?

The issue always comes back to the same thing, fairness. If this is competition for a pot of money and views makes the difference, I have to ask, is it a fair playing field that VHTV allows professional camstars to host an apt? These are people who can literally fake sex acts for hours and hours and hours a day. If sex gets views, which we all know it does, is this system fair to the other tenants who really do try to live their normal, even crazy sex-filled lives, on a voyeur site? I think if VHTH is going to be consistent and fair they should ban anyone who cams professionally on Chaturbate as a career.  Perhaps it's not a big deal if someone dabbles in it from time to time for fun, such as Lisa, but someone who has established themselves as a professional cammer should be considered a pornstar and not welcome here.

"The first thing that we usually mention when it comes to our shameless self-advertising is the fact that we do not hire "professional" actors or anyone with a background in porn. We know that there's a huge demand for real voyeur pornography with real people. We're here to answer the call! We have real-life couples with different backgrounds, relationship dynamics, sexual preferences, and so forth. What makes this exciting is that these are regular people that you can meet on the street. These are regular people that you can spy on." - VHTV

Here's the kicker though!

- Perhaps the camstars ability to offer very frequent sex acts actually increases the number of paid subscribers, who then go on to view the non-camstar tenants, thus yielding more money for them then they otherwise would have earned without the presence of the camstar professionals. 🤔

With that logic, perhaps the true fairness lies in a balancing act that VHTV is constantly measuring and adjusting in an effort to not only expand it's business, but also to ultimately yield greater incomes for all. Hiring professional pornstars would tip the scales and that's why they can't go that far right now. Perhaps the acceptance of more professional type camstars is a sign that the scales can handle the extra weight and it's worth it.

@letsdothis Thx! I never would have thought about this next step without you. Thanks for making me think. 😘

Couldn't agree more with your two latest posts Amy,they start hiring pros an good amount of time ago, started with the web can people that destroyed what VH should be..in all this house it's just porn without any emotion, sadly this web cam pros only care about one thing..money and tokens.Maybe they will get new subscribers this way but they will lose others also, maybe At on time they will want the old loyal users back and then maybe they won't get them back.

Thank you! That’s why I say VHTV has to balance the 2. If indeed the pendulum swings to far and it comes at to great an expense to the non-camstar types, then they can reel thing back in. They know how much the lowest end tenants are earning and if there was a sudden shift of money towards the camstars it would be a clear sign and a remedy would be required. It’s a balancing act. It’s best to accept apts like this knowing that they are likely yielding more money for the other tenants in the long run. CamCaps members are not always representative of the whole subscriber base. We tend to be more voyeurish, I think.

As they say, if it’s not your kind of entertainment watch something that is.

- or complain about it, cause that’s good fun too! I especially like to complain and talk about controversial topics. It’s all good! 😁

VH would be delighted as it would mean they are making more money! So why should they alter anything? They would probably just hire more of them!

Will ignore this place until they fix the pathetic cam setup

Just got a reply from Support. I think it shows what they think of their customers!

Our technicians have reviewed your request and we still find our cameras placement is of good quality. Sorry for inconveniences, but by the moment, everything will still be on its places.

All the best,
Support Department.

Yes, that is a valid point. It comes down to whether or not what they want to be. But, if the camstars are indeed making them so much money, why aren't there more of them then there already are? 90+% of the apts or so don't host any CB camstars. It is a balancing act. If they go too far, the non-camstar types will fall much quicker then they already do and they will end up mostly hosting CB camstars. It may be the case that while the camstars get butts in seats, it's the other tenants that keep them there, once the subscriber realizes that perhaps there's more to this then just random sex.

That's lame! Ignoring the experts here is perilous. Just ask Voyeur-Villa.
