 Great they are an American company, so they must fall under some type of rules and regulations if and when they break a contract with their customers, so are they obligated to start refunding money back to their customers or are they obligated by law to extend free of charge for the time that they were offline.... I guess these are questions only for someone that's familiar with the internet companies rules and regulations towards their customers

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I think it's still too early to come to any conclusions. This could be a temporary hosting issue,  or it could be a permanent shutdown. My money is on this being a temporary issue.  If it were a permanent shutdown one would think that RLC would have posted a notice.

I don't believe that they are an American company. They are registered in the British Virgin Islands, and my understanding is that the BV Islands are often used as tax shelters and by "shell companies" to hide their true ownership. In other words, we don't really know where they are from but I believe they are based somewhere in Europe. They might be using 100TB as a CDN to service North American traffic, that doesn't necessarily mean that they have a physical presence in the U.S.
