And how many people are dying from other diseases because we have concentrated all our efforts on fighting covid-19 at the expense of treating those diseases?

you have to have priorities in life, and for the moment the covid is the main priority for everyone because it is transmitted very quickly

Schade, Schade ! 😁

Covid has been found to cause thickening of your blood, that's why if they don't give blood thinners right away, you your heart will need to work harder...not good for those with heart disease in the first place.  So yeah they get counted as covid deaths.

https://nationalpost.com/news/covid-19-is-causing-blood-to-thicken-common-blood-thinners-might-keep-it-from-killing-the-sickest

That is one article--here is another that says thinners do not work---so what we have is uncertainty about the facts relating to COVID 19 until more significant studies are made

Research begins to pick apart the mechanisms behind a deadly COVID-19 complication. Research begins to pick apart the mechanisms behind a deadly COVID-19 complication.

Blood thinners don’t reliably prevent clotting in people with COVID-19, and young people are dying of strokes caused by the blockages in the brain. And many people in hospital have drastically elevated levels of a protein fragment called D-dimer, which is generated when a clot dissolves. High levels of D-dimer seem to be a powerful predictor of mortality in hospitalized patients infected with coronavirus3.

Most hospitals in the U.S. have many empty beds because they stopped treating other diseases and then never experienced the predicted surge of covid-19 hospitalizations. Many of those hospitals have greatly reduced their staffs because of lost of revenues.  Some may never recover financially and may be forced to close.

None of the self-proclaimed Corona specialists here in the forum dares to report the facts available - just flat chatter.

Instead of dreaming, face the facts. I am waiting for factual contributions. The United States is a failure in health policy and is trying to blame China

to distract from their internal political failure. A primitive and cheap scam. My US friends here in the forum obviously have the background

not yet grasped. What a pity ! 😁

So what about the other 99 countries around the world that want answers from China????

As always--you condemn the USA and in another post earlier--capitalism

Um...the question is not weather thinners work...I am pretty sure it's a hit and miss and timing is likely critical.  The argument if you read it before my post is that heart attacks are being counted as Covid deaths...if Covid causes your blood to thicken and you have a heart attack, then logically Covid was the cause of your death. :dodgy:

The situation in the United States remains very complex
In France, all non-essential operations have been postponed so that a large part of the doctors and nurses take care of the patient positive covid for this first and I hope unique wave
If the front covid calms down then they will be able to resume their original work as well as the operations that were planned

So why do people from all over the world come to the U.S. to receive medical treatment?

This scientist seems to be onto something.  He's been doing the media rounds and his explanation of covid and his link to a cure is very easy to understand and gives some hope.

Ignore the two afternoon drive idiots...the guest on the phone is pretty compelling

We talk to Dr. Sachdev Sidhu, of the University of Torontos Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research about what his team has discovered.

And I was talking about the Lancet study. So? What's the problem? I'm only allowed to talk about what you want to talk about?

Most people stay on the same subject until the discussion is done. You
rarely stick to the same subject long enough to make a coherent sentence.
Just like your buddy "t". It's called misdirection, subterfuge, etc. He uses it
to divert attention when he doesn't want to talk about something or answer
a question. You should get a job in his administration. He would love you.
You could be little "t".
