Okay. Far more Black people are killed by other Black people everyday in the U.S. than are unjustifiably killed by police officers in a year.

Of course "Black Lives Matter"===in fact "All Lives Matter", but what bothers me with the "Black Live Matter" slogan is that it seems to only matter if a black person is killed by law enforcement or a white person.--so they organize mass protests  -then the inevitable cowards that take advantage to riot and pillage communities. But, I have not seen any similar mass protests where a black person is killed by another black person or not killed by law enforcement or a white person.  It would seem that to be a just and noble cause that the death of a black person by any means would carry the same message --no matter who the perpetrator was.  

There is in fact an inequality that exists.  There is no denying that, but there has to be some consistency for the message to be effective IMO.

In the protest marches I've seen signs that say "Defund the Police", "Abolish the Police", and "Close Jails". Many Democrat politicians agree with those signs.  I think we should do a one month trial run on those policies. For one month all police officers in the country should stay at home off duty and all jails and prisons should be closed and prisoners released. Lets see how that works out.:tongue:

BLM was founded by 3 black women on social media, started out as an online campaign before moving on to street protests and activism in school campuses. It does not really have a organisational structure and central hierarchy although it has many chapters in the US & Canada. You do not need to join the protest or make yourself heard to fight for equality for all. You can be in this fight simply by treating everyone you know or meet equally with respect and unbiasedness. You can be in this fight by speaking up for equality WHEN IT HAPPENS and not AFTER IT HAD HAPPENED.

Not sure if the lads here understand what I mean but well.

Do people really truly believe that this discussion thread would have been started and this conversation would have been had had people peacefully protested and not created chaos and disruption? Do people really think this conversation would be happening all around the world by people of all races had there been no chaos to force them to pay attention?

This is what demanding looks like and has always looked like throughout history.

But liberal progressive Democrats have controlled government in almost all these racist U.S. cities for at least 50 years.  In Minneapolis the last time there was a Republican mayor was 1973. Derek Chauvin had 18 previous complaints against him. Why did the liberal progressive government leadership in Minneapolis keep him on the police force?
