Today I sit and I watch all the networks coverage of the Supreme court nomination of Judge Kavanaugh,

I am extremely saddened by this display of complete and total disrespect of the Senate, The Senate Judiciary Committee, and for each and every Republican when they try give their opening statements with people from the crowd yelling over the top of them of them while they are speaking. I have also noticed this does not happen during the Democrat opening statements.

I am also extremely dishearten by the continuous disruption and outbursts, as well as talking over the Chairman and Failure to follow the Cannon Rules of the Senate, by the democrats who have already stated they are against this nomination, before the hearing even begins to determine whether Justice Kavanaugh begins going through the process of being confirmed or denied for a seat on the Supreme Court of these United States of America.

I am so sad to see what has become of our great governmental process, so Disrespectful of the process and of proceedings to conduct that process.

IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS SIMPLY A POLITICAL OBSTRUCTION.

This is todays democrat party, I really and truly feel sad for their political party and those who believe in the true democrat values.

Today I have an open mind, without regard to politics. I am truly saddened by this disrespectful display, and truly dishearten by this outrageous disrespect for the process. Today I am ashamed to call myself and American, and I sit in disbelief and sadness.

I am never ashamed to call myself an American and what we stand for---that is a democrat's apology.  I am with you in the way that the democrats and leftists are trying to disrupt and destroy this great America.

Were you this ashamed when the Republicans refused to even hold a hearing, in direct violation of the US Constitution, when Obama nominated Merrick Garland?  Were you ashamed when the Archives at the behest of Kavanaugh's friend and old assistant, held up 100,000 pages of documents and then released 42,000 pages the night before the hearing?  Just wondering...

Please read my post again

"I am never ashamed to call myself an American and what we stand for"

I may however disagree with some of the procedures from within the process  and dislike the way things are handled---but ashamed---never.

It will likely turn out to be one of the Best Sellers.

Which charity did Woodward say he was going to donate the proceeds of the book to???  Was it the Clinton Foundation??? 😏

Senator Cory Booker

Another of the leaders for President for the Democrat party in 2020 "OH BOY THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD"

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) spent most of Thursday morning's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings threatening to reveal "damning" confidential documents that he claimed might derail Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation. At one point, Booker even called himself "Spartacus," referring to the gladiator who spoke out on behalf of slaves kept by the ancient Romans.

But Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) approved some of those confidential documents for release, and other documents leaked to The New York Times — and, strangely, they aren't damning at all, unless Sen. Cory Booker considers opposing racial profiling in the wake of a major terrorist attack a "controversial" position.

"The people who favor some use of race/natl origin (sic) obviously do not need to grapple with the "interim" question," Kavanaugh writes, referring to terrorism interdiction methods taking place in the wake of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks. "But the people (such as you and I), who generally favor effective security measures that are race-neutral in fact DO need to grapple -- and grapple now -- with the interim question of what to do before a truly effective and comprehensive race-neutral system is developed and implemented." Ultimately, he comes to the conclusion that he properly understands the role of Supreme Court jurisprudence in handling questions of race and national security. If anything, the documents conclusively demonstrate that Kavanaugh is not, in fact, a racist. Booker says he committed the ultimate sacrifice to release this very pertinent and important information, and his tweet "releasing" the "controversial" documents has thousands of retweets even though the documents don't really damage Kavanaugh at all.

Oddly, it seems as though Booker simply did a search of Kavanaugh's documents for key terms like "racial profiling" and collected the results without really reading through them first.

Not quite the "Spartacus" moment Booker was hoping for.

So the documents that Cory Booker violated committee rules to release shows that Kavanaugh rejected the use of race or national origin in airport security screening and law enforcement generally in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 https://www.scribd.com/document/387988906/Booker-Confidential-Kavanaugh-Hearing
