It was very nice to hear Octavia's thoughts today and see how honesty and clear thinking have prevailed following her night out. She appears to have a fairly realistic view of the situation with the man from Dubai and it seems that perhaps their way of relating has evolved in a healthier way (more open and truthful?) while she still sees the potential issues involved…not the least of which are the cultural differences as they relate to how women are viewed in his part of the world and the fact that while they have communicated a lot over time they have still not spent much time together. I think it is fortunate that both of them have plans that will keep things at a slower pace for now since what he wants involves such a major life decision.

As Octavia has mentioned, a recurring theme in her life has been the feeling of wanting to go fast🚴🚙😁 but I think circumstances are such right now that she can really start to relax and slow down as she has many cool plans in the near future with festivals, family visits and the interesting boy from the gym to get to know so that there is no need to feel urgency about anything. As she says…she is fine…so relax in that and enjoy what is happening.
