  9. 2. Traveling during the state of emergency For the duration of the state of emergency travelling across the borders is limited. Persons living in the teritory of the Czech Republic are allowed to exit the country and the purpose of the exit will not be checked during the border controls anymore. The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are stated in the Resolution of Government from April 30th, 2020 required for entry the national territory of the Czech Republic.
  10. On 30 April 2020 the Government of the Czech Republic approved a new Decree that defines rules for the Czech citizens and foreigners entering the territory of the Czech Republic. Persons entering the territory of the Czech Republic are still obliged to submit a PCR testing result certificate or contact the regional hygienic station which decides on quarantine measures. However, quarantine measures will not be ordered if the person submits a PCR testing result certificate in 72 hours after the entry. There are also changes regarding cross-border workers, pupils and students. Newly, it is possible to submit a PCR testing result certificate once a month. Information on the website are continuously updated. Effective from April 27th, 2020 (0:00) possibilities for entry of the European Union citizens (as well as the Schengen area and United Kingdom citizens) to the Czech Republic have been extended It will be possible to arrive also for the purpose of documented economic and educational activities after presentation of PCR testing results in the Ministry of the Interior’s form. The test at entry must not be older than four days. For all persons who do not undergo the order mandatory quarantine upon arrival to the Czech Republic, a two-week prohibition of free movement on the territory of the Czech Republic with the exception of urgent travels still applies.
