I would tend to agree with this. They seemed to have spent all the time since the end of the party fondling and talking to each other. Kathy seems to have enjoyed this, because he may be a pleasant guy to chat with or maybe because she had set herself a challenge... 
Plus the fact that he must be rather camera shy (especially when Stas, whom he may feel a better performer, is around)
