It is a good idea. The challenge is that I might watch Allan and Giselle for a few hours, and in the meantime I do other works. I can't have a dedicated porn time - unfortunately.

I would also suggest using a VPN if you are concerned about privacy.

Thanks for the kind suggestion.

VPN is usually helpful to keep the connections private between the router and the ISP. I the countries that I live in, watching Porn is perfectly fine.

Leaving (leaking) porn files on my computer is the #1 concern and risk for me since people around me are all over my files.

To be correct there will still be some information saved to your hard drive. Everything you do in your browser is saved in your browser cache or temporary directory. So watching VH will of course leave traces on your hard drive too.

We should not use out normal browser user profile to watch porn.

This is a very effective technique if you use Chrome browser:

https://www.chromium.org/developers/creating-and-using-profiles

Just create a separate user profile folder and you can delete it in a while a while. In addition, Chrome encrypts your cache data inside the profile folder.  It is like having a completely separate Chrome  instance. Note that this is above multi-user capability that chrome has.

FireFox has this feature, but I like Chrome. Microsoft Edge does not have it. Edge is a waste of shareholder money anyway.

My pleasure! ♥️

Do give the Firefox screen capture tool a shot. It does work really well and it doesn't require any saving.

FireFox is a good browser built with love of its contributors, but I use Chrome. I need to find a similar Extension for Chrome.

Use Firefox screen capture feature, it fGives you the option to grab the entire screen of just the image selected. When you grab the screen it gives you the option to copy or download, just copy and paste into a post and the file isn’t saved on your HDD, I think. But, it will be held in your copy tool until you copy something else I suppose.

Eh Amy my firefox option to capture is on right click on the image and then Save snapshot option to save file to disk? Where is this copy or download option then?

@zoifan This extension on Chrome works. You can select what you want to capture. It open it on another tab. Right click, "copy image" and then paste into a post on CC.

Easy Screen Capture - save & send screenshots

I also use Ocam for capture of any area you select and video's etc but as far as bypassing the computer, even using the Sanpshot function which is great is just save it to a memory stick stick job done then i suppose.

It needs to be done so that there is no downloading at all. At least none that is easily visible in any standard folder. That's the tricky part. Both solutions that I posted about using FF and Chrome works without saving the pic.

Suely if you use a memory stick you are bypassing any saving on the computer anyway?

Yes, but if someone comes along and needs to use the computer right away, you'll have to eject the drive and they may wonder why you needed to do that. Think as if you needed to be able to hand over the computer to someone else right away. Yes, you would need to exit the brower, duh! 😁

Well I would be only yanking out the memory stick from the USB slot they can wonder what they want lol i am only using it at home anyway.
