Without knowing any particulars of any participant's contract with their resepective manager how do you know that they would get an instant pay rise if they didn't have a manager. 1. For all we know a manager could be looking after the rent and other payouts that the participant doesn't have to. 2. A manager could be sharing to the less popular participant to help ease their pain. 3. If no manager was their then it is likely their won't be as many place's getting started with the initial cost for things i.e. rent, equipment and so forth. By no means am I saying that managers are innocent but I am also not saying that things would automatically be better without them too. As they say why let truth get in the way of a good story. Nothing stopping VH setting the tenants up (note the spelling Dave) thus eliminating the managers instead of not taking any responsibility.
