Farewell to Sean Connery, a prolific and great actor who was born in Scotland who recently just passed away at the age of 90. He portrayed the part of James Bond's 007 character quite well in multiple movie scripts of the character amongst just some of his internationally recognized abilities and skills of acting and other accomplishments. He was a unique and great actor and man. R.I.P. Sean Connery.

Believe it or not guys but the late great man used to deliver milk to my granny here in Edinburgh back in the 50's.His family home was only a couple of minutes walk from my home back then.He lived in a 3 storey tenement in an area known as Fountainbridge in central Edinburgh. It's all demolished now to make way for redevelopment so there you go.

Connery didn't have much personality in his first Bond movies. He wasn't supposed to. Ian Fleming was writing about spies who really shouldn't have personality. For movies, they had a formula for heroes. Then, Connery starting to show his stripes as a great actor, and broke out of the mold of being type cast as "James Bond."

I think he was great. I also think that nobody, no matter how good an actor they are, can portray James Bond. Ever. James Bond has been type cast as being portrayed by a humble kid named Thomas Sean Connery.

Just an opinion by an old squirrel.
