It seems as if she wants Kaya and is being held back. That's the first time that I've seen it where she doesn't seem to be in full control.

That is not the case nowadays. Instead, they just use their phones to ignore whoever they are with. I watched Kaya tonight as Neytiri tried to have a conversation and Kaya would lock onto her phone for minutes at a time as if nothing that Neytiri had to say was as important as the least important thing on her phone. It's not just Kaya. I've watched as other girls have done that even with girls that they really seemed to be friends with. 1
