In the United States, homes with furniture that was custom-made for a home are often sold with that furniture, as well as the installed kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, etc.

The tenant of a home is otherwise expected to take all of their furniture with them.  An expensive home is then often staged with the real estate agency bringing in furniture  to make the home more attractive.  The seller pays the cost of staging.  I have a friend who stages homes in a major American city.  Occasionally, a buyer will like a piece of furniture that was used to stage the home, and buy it.  In one instance, a Russian oligarch buying a home so liked a piece of furniture he paid $100,000 for it.  He bought it from the person staging the home, not the owner of the home.  Most people buying a home in the United States don't want the previous owner's furniture.  And they certainly don't want to pay a moving company to take it away to a disposal site.

In the case of B-1, the wall-mounted television screen is still there.  That was installed by RLC, and IIRC, the girls complained about the small size.  If a renter in the United States had installed an expensive wall-mounted screen, they typically would take that with them when they moved out.

The floors were refinished.  Having large furniture in a room where you are refinishing the floors greatly complicates the task and cost of refinishing.

Also the bathroom that was off-cam has what seems to be new fixtures, or fixtures that were installed by RLC recently.  Very stylish and quite expensive from the looks of them.

where are you getting all this from?

If you are referring to B-1, the property is listed for sale.  The listing has 35+ photographs of the property.  All the photographs were taken after tenants vacated and the owner of the property refurbished the entirety of the apartment.  The listing indicates the age of the property, that it is on the 8th floor, with elevator service.  (The elevator is some distance away and is accessed by a long exterior walkway.)

If this property was in Texas, it might not comply with building codes, as there appears to be the one exterior exit to the street..

B1 is just the same as the girls left. I bet even the mattresses are the same. 😂

The mattresses are surely the same.   The bed linens are new.

I will note that there are now five bathrooms.  The villa had four, one in the Bogdan/Nelly suite; one on the LR level, and two in the bedroom level.  The previous advert had four.

Perhaps they are constructing a bathroom adjacent to the fifth bedroom which was off-cam.

Also as owner, RLC should be responsible for Alberto landscape and gardening services, and a pool company for servicing and maintaining the pool.

------------------------

For whatever reason, RLC appears intent on retaining ownership of this property, and making improvements.

Today's guess by me is that  it will revert back to being on-cam once the Russian-Ukrainian war is over, and they can again readily recruit Russian and Ukrainian girls to go on vacation.  I think RLC much prefers girls who speak a language not readily understood by subscribers, and girls who, because of their lack of fluency in a language, don't easily assimilate into the Latin culture and social scene of Barcelona.

If RLC has money to spend on fixing and upgrading a 20-year old villa, RLC has money to spend on buying additional apartments in Montenegro, which are significantly cheaper. than Barcelona.

-----------------------

Also, the for lease sign on B-6 may have been for the commercial space that was part of that apartment unit.  At one time, a dealer in fine stones and minerals had a shop there.  RLC, or an entity associated with RLC owns B-6.  As I have said before, only a mad Russian  would install a 50,000 euro bathroom and sauna in a 150 year old building.

Also, from the for sale listing of B-1, it seems B-1 was also owned by RLC.  The photographs of a cleaned and refurbished B-1 still have the LR couch, the dining room table, and  the beds in the bedrooms.  A renting tenant would have been told by the landlord to remove all this furniture.  That building is 60+ years old.  Probably due for major utilities replacement and upgrades.  these would need to be done for the whole building.

And any adverts for B-5?  I suspect that RLC owns that too.  I am quite sure the original unit did not have the peek-a-boo shower installed as an integral part of the master bedroom.  The main bathroom may also have been upgraded.

And where was this fifth bedroom ?

Probably on the bottom level, one level below the three bedrooms, in the northeast corner of the villa.  This bottom level lead directly to the true backyard.

The advert indicated the garage was still a garage, so presumably that space was not converted.

Yes I know that space just didnt think it was a bedroom since there was no access to the space from inside the house I think, so thought it was more like a storage room but not sure.

I don't think it was ever a bedroom.  I think it was a space used for storage / catering when they had a party in the backyard.  The backyard still has a large wooden picnic table with wooden benches  Perhaps the picnic table dates from when B-7 was first occupied. twenty or so years ago.

When B-7 was built, there were no other residences nearby, including on the street below.  Because of the difficulty in parking on the street which provides access to the front entrance of B-7, guests may have parked on the street below, and walked up to the backyard.  With no nearby neighbors to complain, there may have been great, loud parties, and no cams to record them.

The B7 rental listing has been deleted but relisted with more (old) photos and the ***** that wasn't shown before.

@moules  Sadly no photos of Bedroom 5, or any other bedrooms for that matter. 🙄

I would not expect any photos of a new bedroom or bathroom until August.  That is the month that the agent or contact said the villa would be available for rent.  Old photos means they are still laboring away, both on the inside and outside.  For example, they have to rebuild the fence separating B-4 and B-7, and remove the steps between the backyards of B-4 and B-7.  The elevation of the B-7 backyard is a meter or more below the backyard of B-4.

Down the stairs, to the right, 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. I was never impressed with this bathroom .... no toilet!  I always thought ... " what bonehead designed this layout? "
