Neither of them seems inclined to leave, nor does one want to kick away the other. I don't think the situation is like Maya and Stephan's. Because I think Leora is the type of woman who, once she makes a decision, sticks to it. She doesn't let a situation drag on for months. Money is useful, up to a point. If Leora cared only about that, would she still be with Paul or would she send him away? What benefits her more? If Leora were driven solely by financial self-interest, like a corporate manager, Paul would have been living under a bridge a long time ago. But she doesn't operate that way, and she shows no interest in doing so. Even putting myself in Paul's shoes, I can't see him staying there just for the money. Especially if Leora is cheating on him (though I don't think she cheating on him).
