I've always said the ignore function is about as useful as a plaster on a broken leg. I have a few on ignore because the option is there to have them on ignore and for no particular reason, and the ignore function is provided by CC for us to use. Better still I don't converse with most of them which is the best thing. I see the rubbish some of them comment on and vice versa (if I'm on ignore) but doesn't mean I have to reduce myself to conversing with them.
