Those dots that appear faintly in videos....do they contain the RLC member's IP number or the RLC member's registration number?

Ольга, простите за не скромный вопрос, для кого вы все время постаете на русском? На этом форуме кроме вас, всего два русско-говорящих человека.

Those dots are the Braille equivalent of the alphanumeric code that appears in the lower left corner of the video window. This code (5 digits for RLC subscribers and 7 for non-subscribers) can be cross referenced by RLC to determine your identity only if you subscribe (5 digit code). 7 digit codes can only be correlated to a static IP address that RLC may use to limit your access to their streams or reduce the quality of the streams. Dynamic IP addresses and/or VPNs reduce or eliminate the value of the watermarked codes for RLC, so you can effectively ignore them if you are not an RLC subscriber and you use a VPN.

Thanks for the clarification.  As I understand, using an app like CyberGhost is, in effect, using a VPN.

Visit this web site to actually see what your current public IP address is: http://whatismyipaddress.com/

It will also show you a location (including a map) of where your IP address is registered. Check this site occasionally to verify that you public IP address is different than your personal IP address and that it changes every time you log on to the app.

Но, я же читаю посты на английском, испанском  и французком языках. Или на русском нельзя? Внесите этот пункт в правила. У меня какая-то ассоциация с олимпиадой в Рио и WADA.
