  1. It appears to have been deleted. This is the message next to it: No locations to display. The content may not have been saved yet or may have been deleted.
  2. Can you give me the page number or video title? It's likely that the video is part of a private conversation or message and only those in the initial conversation can view it.
  3. I have never experienced that particular issue, nor have I received any complaints about it. If there is a space in your username you need to include it when logging in. Previous if your username was Test 1 you could login with Test1 or Test 1, now it must be Test 1.
  4. It appears that you are a Premium Member. What are you having trouble with?
  5. This is correct. You should be able to fill in whatever name you like.
  6. Apparently, we are all a bit confused. What exactly is the issue? Ultimately, nothing has changed in regards to who can view images. Our current membership system has been in place for more than two years. I get that the issue is about who can see images, but i don't get what the misunderstanding is. In the simplest terms only Premium Members are allowed to see images that are uploaded directly to our servers. Images that are embedded via third party links are visible to everyone because they are not hosted on our server. The point about disabling attachments for non-premium members was to reduce confusion. Several people were asking why they couldn't see their own images, it is likely because they uploaded them to CC, but didn't have permission to view them because they weren't Premium Members. I have outlined the benefits here: The simplest way to answer this is: Did I pay the $12 membership fee? If yes, then you should be able to see all images that are posted on CC. If no, then you should not be able to see any attachment that has "camcaps.net" in the url,
  7. You are in no way required to have a premium membership to participate in this community. You can use whatever file hosting you like.
  8. likely because they have chosen to take advantage of the benifits of being a premium member. Again nothing has changed in the way cc operates. This has been in place for more than two years.
  9. Actually the attachments center is back! I have changed the reply box so only premium members can attach pictures to reduce confusion. Previously any one could add an attachment but only premium members could see them. I think that was a bit confusing.
  10. Update: I just installed an updated version of the Attachment Center that addresses this issue, now those types attachments should be hidden from view.
  11. If the file has an envelope icon as highlighted in the picture below it means that it was sent in a private conversation (Personal Message), and you won't be able to see it unless you were included in the initial conversation.
  12. CamCaps.Net is now using sitewide HTTPS, which is the same technology employed by banks and financial institutions to secure transactions. If you're unfamiliar with HTTPS and SSL I'd suggest taking a look at this guide: https://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certificate-products/https.html. Essentially, what this means is that all data transferred between your web browser and our Web server is encrypted (as opposed to being sent as plain text). This helps ensure privacy, protects against Man in the Middle Attacks, and ensures that you're actually visiting CamCaps.Net and not some spoof site designed to steal your information. However, please note that files embedded using third-party hosts that don't use HTTPS are considered "insecure" to most web browsers, so you may receive a warning that parts of the page are insecure if you happen to be on a page where third-party images have been posted (I.e. threads). Pages that do not have any third-party content should be fully HTTPS all of the time: Store, Attachments Center, Staff, Support, Gallery, etc. If you have any questions please let me know. Full HTTPS Connection: Partial HTTPS Connection: - Admin
  13. The site is now being served in full HTTPS, which means that you will see the green lock symbol next to the URL. However, pages that have images or videos embedded from third-party hosts that don't use SSL will show a grey lock symbol with an exclamation point, this is because parts of the page are being served without SSL. I will be making a sticky post about this later.
  14. Nothing in that chain of posts suggests to me that we would stop allowing third party image hosts. I have never said that we would stop allowing third party image hosts, nor do I believe that any of the mods have said that. Either way, I will definitively say that we have no plans to change the policy on third party hosts, now or in the future. You are free to use whatever hosts you like so long as they don't have viruses or malware.
  15. By popular request I had an Attachments Center mod made for this software. I would appreciate it if you would take a look at it and let me know if there are any issues or bugs that need to be fixed. Thank You,
  16. Because he didn't embed them correctly, or used the wrong embed code. Had he uploaded them directly to CC you would be able to see them.

    Site Issues

    1. That feature is not currently enabled for regular members. It was causing a lot of issues, some people want to be able to rate anonymously, and others were attacking people for giving them negative ratings. 2. Please provide the error message if you received one. The chat is working for me currently, and there are consistently people in the chat. 3. This may be a caching issue with your browser. I have not experienced this issue, and I am in and out several times per day on several different devices. 4. See point 3. 5. Your mail system is likely filtering out the message. The mail system is functioning and it successfully sends several hundred e-mails per day, and we are not on any blacklists. If you have some type of mail log or error that would help to diagnose the issue. 6. See point 3. 7. See point 3. In summary, I don't believe the items that you've identified are systemic issues with the software. I think it's more likely some kind of caching issue with your browser, and/or your browser doesn't play well with Java Script. To better troubleshoot this I'd need to know what browser your running and what OS you're using. Depending on the browser there are ways to clear the cache for specific websites.

    Google Translate

I've added a Google Translate button on the bottom of every page to make it easier for members who don't speak English.
  19. Collez le lien a frappé la touche d'entrée, et de lui donner une seconde ou plus. Il faut un moment pour reconnaître qu'il est un lien YouTube.
