I suffer from tinnitus (a constant whistling in my ear) the best cure is constant background noise, like a fan or AC while I am asleep. If I don't have that constant noise the next morning my tinnitus is very loud. Not saying this is Katya's problem, some people are just comforted by a constant low noise or likes the air flow on her face.
