    Regarding that discussion in English, I wondered, "Why are they speaking in English?" Perhaps because they want to let us know some things, like the party on Friday (tomorrow), but they also talked about some personal things, like the ones you just mentioned, which seemed more personal... why not discuss them in Russian?
