  1. Somebody please tell Dominga that her missing rainbow mug that she has been looking for is in the B7 dishwasher. One of Kaya's crew took it over there at the end of the New Year's Eve party.
  2. Lun & Ada met Kaya once. If someone you barely know is letting themselves into your room without permission, while you aren't there, and while nobody is supervising them, and while they're in the company of someone you know even less than them, you're allowed to be wary of that person ever being in your apartment again and wish that it never happens. Kaya shattered the trust in her before she ever really built any up, and is therefore now a person who will give L&A no peace of mind if ever inside their home again. They're entitled to communicate this to Gelia. And a considerate roommate would honour the wish for the sake of harmony. That's how co-existing works. It's a game of give and take. Prior to all of this, L&A had told Gelia she was free to do as she pleases in the apartment since she lives there too. There weren't any restrictions on her re: guests or why they might come over. L&A were just of the expectation that "feel free to do whatever you please" stops at their bedroom door and that Gelia would understand L&A's bedroom wasn't part of the playground. She did in fact understand this, because she offered Kaya the use of every room except L&A's. Her mistake therefore was in trusting and expecting that Kaya understood L&A's wishes enough to respect them. Gelia still remains free to do as she pleases in the apartment - so long as it doesn't involve Kaya being there. Any other guest, for any purpose at all remains fine. But Kaya specifically is a no.
  3. It was said during last night's talks that Gelia had been asked not to bring Kaya to the apartment again - Gelia saw the message, then walked through the door with Kaya anyway. Whether Kaya being present was steered by Gelia or Kaya herself wasn't explained. But Lun and Ada reacted so poorly to Kaya turning up because they had explicitly requested it not happen. No matter how good the intentions were with Kaya going to B5, she shouldn't have been there if Lun and Ada had asked that she not be. Her presence was too much, too soon. Lun and Ada wanted to talk it all out with Gelia first.
  4. Lun talks pretty extensively during last night's conversation with Ada about how her tears are because Gelia is a genuine friend, and the betrayal of trust came from Gelia of all people. It's nothing to do with Kaya, or even the bedroom or the wine or the shampoo. It's because Lun has met complete strangers while in the project who treated her with more respect and consideration than an actual from-back-home friend did. Lun talks quite a bit about her time in B4 and B1 and how she dearly misses those girls and living with them. The very first time she cries in fact is because she gets onto the subject of living in B4 and B1.
  5. Some people use DMs to have their discussions about tenants and apartments, rather than do so as posts. L&A have generated plenty of comment, some here just aren't seeing it.
  6. If thieves were above being braindead, the world wouldn't need jails. How many people do you think have been locked up for thieving despite the presence of CCTV? The RLC cameras do not make theft a zero possibility event - same as they haven't prevented assault and rape. L&A were perfectly right to count their cash on returning home, irrespective of who was in their room, and especially so after returning to find that one person present, who by way of being a long term friend of Lun's, who therefore should have been the person showing the most respect towards Lun, already took more than given permission to. L&A's checking of their valuables makes even more sense in the context of them barely knowing Kaya and never before meeting the guy. Strangers steal from strangers. Friends steal from friends. Cameras do not deter everyone, and the possibility of being caught deters no thief at all.
  7. With a man? Ada has called herself a lesbian on cam several times. Most recently (that I have caught) to Louisa on the night when Gelia visited.
  8. Unattractive by whose standards? The "feminine ideal" that women are told to look like is an artificial version of a woman that men have decided they want to see and the male-dominated beauty industry has decided to market as mandatory. Since lesbians aren't in the business of centering men in their lives, naturally it's the lesbians who tend not to cave to the pressure to look the way women are expected to. Ada not shaving & and her having the hair that she does & and her wearing the clothes that she does isn't her going out of her way to be unattractive - that would first require her to think about men enough to plot how to go against their wishes - when in fact men just don't come to the lesbian mind at all. Ada looks the way she looks because the insistence that her choices make her unattractive as a woman just doesn't work on her, like it does many other women.
  9. Trust me, plenty of them will say exactly that. And of course, if you say no, you're a transphobic bigot. You should try encountering these creatures as a lesbian. They don't just play the bigot card against you, they also play the ~LGBT solidarity~ card as well and argue that since we are part of the same group I should be extra receptive to considering them real women and just letting them have their way with me.
  10. He is. There's no threshold to get over, you just say you are a woman and you are, and then you do whatever you want to do in order to make yourself look so, or not. But hormone therapy isn't magic. For most men, it does absolutely nothing to "feminise" them, unless them start at so young an age they can counteract the impact of testosterone on their body's development. 9 times out of 10 any man who lives as if a woman and somewhat passes for one in his appearance has had multiple surgeries to completely change the bone structure of his face. It isn't the hormones, it's the jaw shaving and the nose jobs. Some are luckier and happen to have been born with softer more feminine-like facial features. But the vast majority still look very much male, just with a traditionally feminine haircut and a bit of lipstick.
  11. This isn't what she is doing at all. And the funniest part of this comment is that if Lunette were to stand next to a dozen other RLC women, it would be Lunette who looks like the one "dressing like a man". That's what everyone said of her while in B4, she was clocked as a lesbian when first arriving because of how she dresses. She dresses exactly as Ada does. But they can't both be "trying to take the role of the guy in their relationship" otherwise it's two gay men right?
  12. That wasn't Taylor. It was an entirely different woman who was an insanely accurate doppelganger of Taylor's.
  13. Horrendous work on RLC's part. It would have been bad enough to have Lunette/Ada + just one woman (as I thought was happening until I saw the dude) because that is a dynamic that does not work. Only a person who has never lived with lesbians or with a group of women would think that combo leads to functional atmosphere. But this lesbian couple + hetero couple combo is x10000 worse. I was going to sub for Lunette/Ada as well. Not even 24hrs in and it's already ruined.
  14. Please tell me that fella isn't a new tenant as well as the woman and RLC has decided to house a lesbian couple with a straight man.
  15. Lunette (and Frida by extension) doesn't fit the B/COV apartments, but she fits Barcelona as much as say Esmi & Zabava and the other tenants making up the Barcelona couples past and present. If, for example, Lunette and Frida had moved to the old Martina apartment today, or the apartment right now being used by Esmi & Zabava, or had even gone to where Harley and Ulyana currently are, I don't think anybody would be thinking Lunette and Frida were out of place in Barcelona/on RLC. They're very much like a lot of other RLC couples. They just probably shouldn't be up the hill or in B1-5
