I think we're all experiencing the same problem. Hope they resolve it though. I do have about 2 hours more sparetime every day since the last 5 days LOL

How do you prevent that from happening? Well, currently amateurvoyeurforum has the same problem:
people mass-clicking the 4shared links and the user gets hundreds of notifications in a matter of hours by e-mail.

Since most people that upload their photos and videos to 4shared aren't aware that it is public in the first place,
the only way to prevent them from getting notified by e-mail is to never:

1. Save WHOLE albums

2. Comment on photos/videos

You're best off selecting each individual image you want to be added to your account and to not (like illustrated on the video on the left side with all the maps) download the maps as zip.

Hi. An experienced 4Shared user here. I've got a collection that goes back as far as July 2017 and currently have over 50.000 private videos and photos from private users.  I made this account, in particular, to point out that your claim isn't true.

First of all, all data collected by the 4shared algorithm to contain nudity on 4Shared is protected by age confirmation. 4shared definitely allows nudity. It even age-restricts things considered nudity.

So as to why all links go private (and require access) or simply vanish, is not because 4Shared kills and/or inactivates the content: 

It is because the USER/UPLOADER is made aware that their photos/videos are being saved.
