Guest observer1 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Does anyone else sometimes get a stop-start feed from RLC? Presumably it could be any combination of a number of things. I haven't got a very fast connection but other sites seem OK.
casbert Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 There are many reasons for the "stuttering." Data moves in packets or small groups of information. Depending on the volume, some of it may get delayed a few milliseconds along the way. No doubt the data passes through a number of servers and many chances for the pauses. Sometimes it is worse than others. For the most part the RLC cameras seem OK. I would bet on server delay. Locally, If you computer does not adequate RAM it will also cause pauses. (number of windows open, load of background programs running ect.) cas
