It looked to me that he was intentionally making that girl uncomfortable as she was trying to get undressed to sleep. The other bird didn't seem too happy with whatever it was he was saying either.

If a pal of mine tried to pull a prank on me with a breadknife it would be his last practical joke! Seriously though, I think there's something not quite right with this chap.
