I emailed them yesterday with some pics of rat traps ...larger sized mouse traps where the bar springs back once the food is disturbed on it and that trap looks very much like one.

This trap was originally under the center block that knocked Liora over, now it looks like there's something inside it.

After looking again, I since realised that metal trap could be the one from that gap as you rightly pointed out.

Well, this was earlier in the day with the trap under the worktop when Liora caught her footwear on the skirting thing which bounced back ...and she just carried on 😆.
