Girls, rats. They are all pets.

My dad used to affectionately refer to my mom as ‘pet’…a long long time ago, 😄 I wonder if people still use that term.

Are you from the uk? The reason why I asked that, because my mother is Scottish/English and my father is the part English/Bahamian. My grandfather, used to call my grandmother that. When I was younger growing up in the Bahamas on my mother's side... But I wouldn't dare call an American woman that in America. They'll take it as an insult but it's not, it just a name of affection for your spouse. 🙂

I’m a Canadian but my grandparents on both sides are from England and we may have Scottish connections as well. So that probably explains it. That also explained why Sunday dinners were usually roast beef and Yorkshire puddling. @Brit Guy lol, am I right?
I haven’t thought about the term ‘pet’ in years. I agree if you call a modern girl that, the result might be a bit risky. lol.

Well, people here pay per view.

I strongly urge that the rats get names too.

That would be animal friendly.

Sunday dinners can be anything from roast beef, pork, lamb or chicken. Roast beef/chicken are the most popular roasts and roast lamb is usually eaten at Easter as the traditional Easter Sunday roast, like Turkey is for Christmas Day. Roasts are delicious whatever the meat is to be fair.

I wish my mother could cook, my mom's a terrible cook. My father did the cooking, because of ours Bahamian African cuisine background, we ate seafood, fish like Cod, lobsters stew chickens, deep fried food, and when we move to America. Now we mostly eat America Style food....Yeah, but my grandfather would always call my grandmother Pet or Lovely....I miss my grandparents.🙂
