Timewarp
I realize that for some of the people who contribute here English is not their first language. I speak to them when I say, after listening to so much Russian and Spanish, one begins to yearn for a word, any word in English. One time, before she left, Nora was making some arrangements and wound up speaking several languages culminating with a few sentences in English which she appeared to speak quite well. It was interesting hearing a person I had observed for some time suddenly break into a language I actually understood.
Pookus
I saw here once in the living room talking on the phone and it sounded like she was rehearsing a play or a speech with the person on the other end of the phone, in English. And not only the text, but she was discussing notes and other matters about the text in English as well (even down to commenting on "The FUCKING Dinner" when discussing it).
