I believe in what the banks tell me because when I make any other purchase on the internet (amazon, travel, etc ...), when I pay, in addition to entering the user name and password of the site I have to confirm the purchase also through a code that is sent to me on my mobile phone or e-mail: this does not happen when I sign up for a subscription with RLC. Is there anyone here on cc who has had this transaction rejection problem?

    It happened to me too. For a few months there has been a new European regulation which establishes that for internet purchases, payment must be made with a double identification. The 2 payment providers of RLC have not adapted to this new regulation (even if they say yes), consequently there are banks that adhere very strictly and therefore refuse payment, others do not. I have 2 credit cards: the main one kept refusing the transaction, using the other, they accepted it for me. In any case with Paypal the transaction is accepted.
