    The first he saw was the backyard cam but maybe he though that the NV isn't very good so he was kind of safe and I think that inside the house he only saw the cam near Loraine's wardrobe but it was too late and he was already leaving the house.

    I think that to invade a house in that neighborhood he was searching for jewelry. Only a few people now a days have cash stored in their house and if they have isn't a huge amount. Odd thing is that he didn't have any backpack or something similar.
