Depends on the area but Left or right handed are acceptable in eastern Europe and parts of Russia. Also depending on the religion you practice. As for the getting engaged in the kitchen I doubt there are many places Kira (kind of shocked it was her on one knee and not Nina) could do that in public with out someone ruining it for them. I didn't watch Nora much in the old apartment so i don't know to much on the relationship. So I ask this are you sure they were married in the first place? I say this cause in a lot of eastern Europe countries women and sometimes men will wear rings on their fingers when they are in a long term relationship. I don't know if this is done much in Russia/Ukraine, but it is a trend that happens when couples live together. Happens with some people in school who live together and are in a long standing relationship that when school ends or what not a lot of couples break up and move on. They wear the rings as symbols of the relationship and in the women cases to ward off other men. Don't know if that fits here but it could be what happened.

Eh this couple deserves each other. Paul is a disappoint in many ways, but Leora has her faults as well. All she cares about is herself and her needs (as does Paul, but too many blinded by Leora to notice) but she is very self absorbed. The reason the sex is bad between the two isn't just cause Paul is lame and just wants pleasure. It's cause she knows she gets nothing from it/him in the terms of the life she wants and the what not. She wants to be taken care of and be the lazy one like Paul. If she is taken care of she can "act" like she loves the person she is with and wants to please them as we have seen. But since Paul can't do that in anyway possible by means or a good life like in the fairy tales or being a sugar daddy she has gotten to the point where she isn't going to put effort into him unless she can benefit from it. So in the end you have two lazy people that just want their needs taken care of and have gotten to the point that it seem they both don't care much about giving to the other so they have gotten stale and bored. :(

You can not expect much from this guy. They have been like this for a few weeks while he is in the living room playing she is in the kitchen watching tv episodes or movies. She most likely was watching something sad on the computer. They are boring and I am kind of weirded out by this "couple".
