One of the two: they have money saved or rlc is paying them, which can be possible. Only supposing. Well, appart from the problems the site has been having, they only have 11 apts to spend money with and they get millions of visitors everyday, most of them members for sure. Yeah, it makes sense. They have been locked for almost 2 months now actually, having the same kind of routine almost everyday (despite trying to keep themselves entertained), so maybe they just wanted to enjoy the day, stroll a bit more and buy some new stuff since the stores reopened. It's good for their minds and for their mood 🙂
