    I have no comment about the previous statements. However, I am reminded that whenever someone new has entered this apartment, there are those who have routinely described the new person as a relative of one of the current apartment dwellers. So far since I have been watching this apartment, they have all been wrong.

    Changing the subject...Over the years, many RLC participants have demonstrated artistic talent and have done paintings that were left behind after their tenure. I can recall that Esmi and Masha were among some of the more talented. One of the paintings that Esmi did ended up on Kristy's was and she must have taken it with her. Another of the more remarkable paintings currently resides in the guest room (camera #13). I cannot recall who painted it. Does anyone remember?

    Newbies to the forum should appreciate that RLC in the beginning days was not as sophisticated as it is, perhaps, today. Many apartment contracts seemed to emerge from an affiliation with an existing apartment. It was kind of like a referral process it seemed. An apartment couple would refer a friend to RLC for an interview, they would host a party or function where the new applicants would be debuted...their ratings would, perhaps, be reviewed and if favorable, they would get an apartment. Dasha, Sasha, Masha, Nelly, Bodgan, were all a part of that early group. They spawned many subsequent apartments including the successful Dick and Jane, etc. I has been reported that Dasha, Nelly and Masha may have been schoolmates.

    I recall that their story is more complicated than you suggest. Masha and Sasha got their debut on RLC when they attended a party at Dasha's apartment. Sasha gave a yoga demonstration in the bedroom during the party. He attracted a large audience from that episode, as there were as many people in the bedroom as in the other part of the apartment. Later, Masha and Sasha had their own apartment. Like I said...it's a little more complicated.

    I would not have thought that Leora would have settled for her current lifestyle. After her pioneer work with Malia, I expected that she would keep innovating and finding new ways to entertain. The current situation with Paul is now less exciting than before. It does look like there is nothing new to see here. When I was a big fan in her first apartment, her second apartment was better and very different. Malia used to visit then and Paul payed them no attention. Although they managed noting more that dancing together and some brief kissing, it brought drama to the apartment. Then I though there would be a revival when Leora found another friend. But now?

    My recollection is that Masha actually facilitated the relationship between Sasha and Dasha. She did everything possible for it to happen. I don't think she necessarily expected them to leave, however. I believe that the decision to leave was made the night that Sasha witnessed Masha and Top Knot together. As I watch Sasha's facial expression during Masha's visit now, I think it is still something that he has not gotten over.

    I agree with your sentiment. However, there was never bad blood amongst them that I could observe, requiring a time for healing. Masha and Dasha held each other and wept just before she walked out the door with Sasha.

    Better yet, get to know some reporters well enough and go drinking with them. After a few, some will begin to tell horror stories about how their work gets changed and edited to the extent that there was consideration for changing professions.

    One only has to be involved directly in an event that gets covered by corporate media, then come home and watch the coverage on the news, as I have done. Some events can be unrecognizable by people where were actually there.
