Previews are gone now too. There was a problem with the night vision on some cams in B1. It will be interesting to see if that gets fixed and whether any “lost” video reappears. It must be a bit of a logistical problem to keep everything up and running in all these apartments. I guess the occasional outage is to be expected.

Now B1 just went “under maintenance “. (The other apartments with outages did not). Strange that preview pics are still showing on every cam.

Was this at 2am this morning?

Yes, I just checked with RP and saw the same block of time with no video in several apartments as you mentioned.

Thanks to sigfried and TfiDeano for the replies. There were preview pictures and even a replay video of Octavia between 2 and 3am but when accessed showed video at 3:45 am instead. It is interesting to hear there were widespread crashes but having preview and replay images showing seems to indicate that video was successfully recorded. Would this be likely if there was a crash?

Video in B1 from 10:30pm through when Octavia got home at 2am until after 3am was cut off and then replaced with video starting at 3:45am on all cameras. Obviously something that RLC didn't like happened. You can still see the preview pictures from Octavia's room and it looked like she might have been in distress and possibly talking but it is hard to tell what was going on. Did anyone see it live before RLC changed everything?

I have to say that I really enjoy it when Octavia allows herself to go into stream of consciousness mode. I find her “craziness” to be very appealing and refreshing. I smile and laugh at the things she says and does (and sings) and personally appreciate the fact that she likes Queen songs…especially “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Don't Stop Me Now” which could actually be her theme song…😁

It was a conversation with the guy from Dubai. His views are based on his upbringing in a very different culture from Octavia and are part of his agenda to try and get what he wants…which is Octavia. I think she mentioned in her conversation with her coach that he even asked her if she wanted to be his second wife? (Assuming the translation was accurate). This apparently did not appeal to her, nor should it knowing a bit about her nature. He definitely has a different way of looking at things which in my opinion would end up trying to suppress the open way that Octavia approaches life which I feel is much healthier. I think Octavia knows this and will ultimately not be a part of his plan to have them be some sort of couple…but at the same time she seems to enjoy his company and the game they are playing along with the debates they are having so this will probably continue in some way. She has said that she feels he has a good heart so I think she is doing her best to be his friend, to just have fun and try to help him out with his life without locking herself into something she will likely regret in the future. This sort of thing tends to be a bit tricky and complicated especially as he is also offering her a chance to travel with him to exotic places which appeals to her but ultimately it is still part of his agenda. She is smart enough to know all this so things may shift soon. She also has plans to see family and God Children in addition to 2 festivals so she will be quite involved with her own pursuits which should be fun for her.

Ha! Yes, that little voice in the head loves to think it knows what is happening. It is amazing how often it is wrong. Best not to take it too seriously as life has a mind of its own. 😉 She has mentioned going to visit her family plus there are now 2 festivals that she has tickets to. One is in Belgium at the end of June.

Well, she said not yet for the project so that is nice. She did say some time ago that she would still be there in June. As usual, we will just have to wait and see. I originally thought she would leave in July but I should probably stop guessing. 😁

It struck me as goodbye to both specific people and to the project. It is just a matter of when.

I understand your point of view and why it is better for you to end your time on RLC. It is frustrating when there is emotional involvement without the ability to do much about it but your desire to help and add emotional support for someone when they appear to suffer is a quality that is much needed in this life. It is nice to see that you have this quality and it was also nice to share these thoughts. Take care and enjoy your time outside in the spring weather!

People are who they are and do what they do based on their genetic makeup and the conditioning they have received from many sources throughout their life. There is no right or wrong until somebody makes a judgement based on their own concept (just thoughts) of how things ought to be instead of accepting that life unfolds exactly as it should and has been doing for millions of years according to Cosmic Law. Yes, society makes rules and as a result there are consequences to actions that go against what society deems acceptable so it is wise to follow guidelines but it is helpful to have compassion for what happens rather than trying to place blame somewhere because whatever happens could not have been otherwise. RLC is what it is. Take it or leave it, it's fine. Watch it or cancel, no problem, but to say it should be different than what it is makes no sense. It is the private lives of other people who are put into a very artificial environment with special rules and what we see is an attempt to live life while having to deal with all that comes with these unusual circumstances. I have interacted with RLC a few times over the years but have never been as interested as I am now after having “met” Octavia. I continue to find her very unique, interesting and refreshing because she is as open and honest as anyone I have seen on the site. Yes, she does play with things within the “rules” and her behavior evolves and changes the longer she lives in this environment but it's all OK. Lets face it…this situation is a temporary stop in the lives of most of the people in these houses. I think in Octavia's case she has experienced a lot of new and exciting things, grown as a person, and will soon “outgrow” RLC and move on. I will miss her.

It was very nice to hear Octavia's thoughts today and see how honesty and clear thinking have prevailed following her night out. She appears to have a fairly realistic view of the situation with the man from Dubai and it seems that perhaps their way of relating has evolved in a healthier way (more open and truthful?) while she still sees the potential issues involved…not the least of which are the cultural differences as they relate to how women are viewed in his part of the world and the fact that while they have communicated a lot over time they have still not spent much time together. I think it is fortunate that both of them have plans that will keep things at a slower pace for now since what he wants involves such a major life decision. As Octavia has mentioned, a recurring theme in her life has been the feeling of wanting to go fast🚴🚙😁 but I think circumstances are such right now that she can really start to relax and slow down as she has many cool plans in the near future with festivals, family visits and the interesting boy from the gym to get to know so that there is no need to feel urgency about anything. As she says…she is fine…so relax in that and enjoy what is happening.

Yes…it will be interesting to see what happens. It is clear from how she got ready to go that she is fully prepared to ignore all the red flags she brought up in her Sunday conversation. We shall see if she perceives him as a “changed man” or if the flags re-appear. With Octavia, once the adrenaline starts running the common sense seems to fade to the background. Where will it take her this time? There is no doubt about one thing. There will be more lessons to be learned here.

That was a really nice talk in Octavia's room on Sunday evening. She has certainly re-affirmed that she is a smart, insightful person that is learning a lot from the various events taking place in her life. She has seen that even though some so-called negative things can seem to pile up and drain her energy that these things will eventually pass and can even be purged by a good day at the gym, when a vigorous workout can re-focus attention and cause energy to shift. It even made me think that perhaps she should have a good workout on the same day as her next drivers test which might help to burn off her nervous energy and allow her to be more calm and relaxed while driving. (It just can't be at 8AM 😆). It's fun to see her excited about meeting a new person and important to notice that she realizes while thoughts and feelings will continue to arise and try to bring to life some positive fantasies or expectations about what might happen (it's OK to have these…you can't actually stop them) she is seeing them for what they are. Just thoughts and feelings that you can enjoy for a moment while knowing not to take them seriously. (She even said “don't go there girl”…so she knows). Just wait and see what happens. Be open and willing to be surprised. She is getting it…which is not easy when you are as open as she is and in a super sensitive body that feels everything to the extreme which can be overwhelming at times. It's a lot to handle but she is learning to deal with it. Best not to drown in stories from the past or fantasies about the future but focus on what is in front of you right now since that's all you can do anything about.

Ha! Great song! The original lyrics have two of my all time favorite lines. “They say I'm lazy but it takes all my time” and “I can't complain but some times I still do.” These certainly apply to my life and I'd venture a guess that the second one is relevant to all. Octavia was on the phone earlier and someone she knew came on and apparently asked how she was. Octavia said I'm fine…and then said well, actually I'm having a hard time…While not really complaining it's a great example of how right in this moment all is well but if I think about what happened recently in the past I am having a hard time. I can't complain but some times I still do…

I feel the most valuable conversations you can have are with people who speak from their own personal experiences. Very cool that you have a background in physics. It has always interested me as well.

She won't find out the results until tomorrow but feels like there's a chance that she will not pass as what was characterized as a mistake apparently happened.

I think your Moody Blues take is right on as they would have said back in 1969. The theme of the album does fit well with Octavia's final thoughts as their keyboard player said during an interview while making the album “Hey, we're on the brink of a new consciousness, a new way of looking at things”. That's the way it seemed at least over 50 years ago. This concept led to the name “On the threshold of a dream.” The Dear Diary song is a nice “coincidence”. Yes, I have been concerned with these things for many years. I have sat with gurus, attended Satsang with many teachers, read countless books and watched many videos of diverse spiritual teachings. I was a spiritual seeker but now I realize we already are what we seek. I am still a Truth Lover…a term used by a French teacher of Advaita named Francis Lucille. I recommended the book as I think it will serve as validation of Octavia's beliefs/concepts. Your comment that it will “perhaps” be a good tip is a good one as my favorite word these days is “maybe”. We don't know what the future holds. We can only wait and see with the knowledge that life takes us where we need to go.

I agree with your thoughts. Nice comments. It was a really interesting conversation that Octavia had. There are many things worth commenting on and important issues brought up by her in general but there is one thing that I need to pass along as my concept of how life continues after the body dies is very similar to what she was talking about and there is a book out there that I know she will want to read. The book is called “Journey of Souls” written by a clinical hypnotist named Michael Newton, PH. D. He was doing work with patients as a hypnotist, regressing them to past lives to try and address issues they were having in this life when one of them found themselves in a between life state. Since then he has worked with 100s of people who recount amazingly similar stories about what they experience between lives. Octavia should check this book out.

I am impressed with the high level of communication from those for whom English is not their native language…as well as being able to speak more than one language and in many cases 3 or 4. Your communication is very good. I just thought best to add one word so that Octavia isn't confused as English is not her first language either…although she speaks it very well and is an avid learner. I didn't want it to seem like you were saying she was not beautiful and intelligent which I know you did not mean.
