But there are more answers to this problem than just gun control laws. If Democrats were really serious they wouldn't oppose other proposals to make schools safe such as armed guards at schools or refurbishing school buildings so that there is only one entrance to the school with all other doors in the school only opening from the inside.

With the way they are abandoning the Democratic Party it appears that Hispanic Democrats are much more intelligent than are Black Democrats.

I would agree to limiting the sale of certain weapons to people age 21 and older if Democrats would agree to raise the voting age to 21. If you are not mature enough to own a gun then you are not mature enough to vote.

But in the 1970s and 1980s there was no cable tv nor talk radio where there were opinions to counter the main stream media. On tv all there was, was ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS. When I saw Reagan in person I liked him, but if the things the news media said about him had been true I would have had legitimate reasons to not like him. It wasn't until years later that I learned most of what the news media said were lies. At the time I believed the news media and just figured Reagan was just a good actor.

As products become too expensive for people to buy they will stop buying. And when they stop buying businesses will cut back on production of those products which will result in businesses laying off unneeded workers. That will then cause unemployment to increase. We will then have a "return to the future" of Jimmy Carter in the 1970s where we had a combination of recession and inflation which they termed stagflation.

I actually voted for Jimmy Carter because at the time he was considered an outsider ( a peanut farmer from Georgia). That was a big mistake but at least it resulted in Ronald Reagan being elected president, which at the time I also opposed because of all the lies the news media told about Reagan which I believed. I guess I'm sort of like Reagan who originally was a Democrat. Reagan said,'I didn't leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me.'

You are the perfect compliant Canadian citizen. Never complain about anything politicians do that reduces your standard of living. The Democrat politicians in the U.S. love people like you.

Not for me, because I vote based upon a politician's policies not based upon his/her or it's' political affiliation. That's why I can't stand Democrats because I disagree with 99% of their policy positions.
