What IS Paul doing in the corner of the room?

I still have no idea what Paul is engrossed in over by the computer table. My laptop screen is too small to get a good close up view. He seems to be mending or making stuff, intricate stuff, and he keeps erecting strange contraptions in the doorway to the kitchen...and I'm not talking about his angular appendage.

Please help me to understand......

A few weeks ago he seemed to make an antenna or something like that. He had these wires across the living room and also in the kitchen. I don't know, but perhaps he is trying to pick up a TV-station.

No telling what Paul is ever doing except when he is sleeping and even that is sometimes questionable

Anything he works on takes him days to complete. He's one of those ones that think they are a Jack of all Trades and A Master at None.
