TBG 150 Posted August 28, 2025 Posted August 28, 2025 Let's see...I've been using Shell regular gasoline in the wife's car for years and years as well as my pick up. The newest vehicles have both about 70,000 miles on them with absolutely no engine or fuel issues. When I end up buying 'cheap charlie' gasoline, I add Chevron's Techron to the gas. Maybe I just live in a state where all of the fuel is delivered by barge direct from the refinery and not traveling thousands of miles through rusted pipelines like 90% of the country does. Don't be so quick to blame the refiner. Check the means of getting the fuel from the refinery to the end user. That includes the barges, pipelines, distributor storage tanks and the transport tanks the product is delivered in. 1
