I just soooooo agree with the above. That is why my truck is 15 years old and my car is 50 years old. I can do almost anything to it without going to a stealership.

I bought a brand new FORD F250 6.7 CREW CAB FX4 OFF ROAD and I disconnected the FORD TELEMATICS, so now FORD isn't spying on me

Maybe so, but you'll need to have it update the CPU, BCM, TCM, ECM and all the other computers which control the vehicle. Download the update, save it and see what is in it. If you don't like the update and what it will do, don't install it. The problem is, they piggyback garbage onto a needed update and you can't see it until it rears its' ugly head.
