I was going to blindly just say her clients are into rough stuff.   However,  if you look at other details, it's just the chalk she is using for her rat portrait.  There is chalk dust all over the bed of that color.

She has a bad self-image, the work with the rats is a self-portrait, a few days ago she adopted that pose and took a picture of it which she then sketched on paper, she designed the rats herself

Lunette is taking Ada home to meet the family.  Up to Poland and then down to Ukraine.  Ada got a phone call about the tickets about a week ago.

It's just that I happened to see her take the photo otherwise I would have thought it was a portrait of Kaya 😏
