It one of the largest single expenses govt has. About 1/3 of all ones taxes are spent on free health care. .Its awesome to not go broke on medical expenses. But there are also many downsides. But thats another debate. 1

Even in the US where Medicade is quote unquote Free health care to those that aren't able to work or receive financial aid isn't FREE!!! If you own ANYTHING of value in the US and you have received Medicade aid in your lifetime, when you die they will be the first MFs to be standing there with there open hand expecting EVERY PENNY BACK FROM YOUR ESTATE!!! Medicare only covers so much of your medical expenses. Additional coverage cost you money that most can not afford each month. Medical treatment and services still have Out Of Pocket expenses that you have to pay even if you can't work or afford them. So there is NOTHING FREE!!! 1

FYI I edited my comment to say "ones" taxes not "your" taxes. 🙂 6 % is quit amazing. Canada should look and see what you guys are doing to be able to do that. Instead the fucking idiots where I live think its a great idea to copy Scandinavia bike lane model (which isn't working here) but they ignore your ability to provide 6% health care. ARGGGGGG! 1
