itsme Posted July 26, 2016 Author Share Posted July 26, 2016 They could do a number of things including applying blurring to TV screens, only allowing tenants to use licensed music streams (Pandora has business licenses for this), and covering logos with tape. My point was not that they should do these things but simply that they themselves are violating copyright. If the copyright holders are based in the U.S. they could use the WIPO treaty among other avenues to try to enforce their rights. The way in which RLC tenants use the media streams and art wouldn't fall under fair use so the copyright holders certainly could make a claim for infringement, but it isn't likely that they would.
