because the place is about to burn down. They left a candle lit in the dance room, right next to a blanket, and it's almost burned down to the floor.

Yeah, I just tuned in and noticed the candle - hope it is in a glass or similar, cos it's rather close to the blankets.....

It's not. I watched her grab it from the TV room and light it about an hour ago.

I watched Nora bring it into the room.

So did I. I also watched her light it with a cigarette lighter. It was a real candle. When she brought it into the room and placed it on the floor it was about 4 inches from the floor. It got all the way Down to about an inch off the floor and left a puddle of wax. Electric light bulbs don't do that.
