I wanted to see what "Rants and Flame Wars" was all about, so I randomly
clicked on this thread and I had to smile at a couple of the posts I read.
Like this one:

But, the people who take the time to post those pictures and videos
originally to CamCaps, are the ones who pirated the media from RLC
in the first place. It's like saying, "There's no honor among thieves,"
or like, "The pot calling the kettle black."

Or, like this post:

" RLC violates copyright all the time. Every time they broadcast one of
tenants watching tv, playing music, or show a logo."

RLC can't violate their own copyright, if they are the ones broadcasting the
media. They are the owners of the copyright, so they can broadcast
whatever they want, without any copyright infringement. They may need to
get their tenants' permission, but they still own the copyright to the media.

Don't get me wrong. I applaud and greatly appreciate and highly
respect all the people who take the time and go to the trouble and run
the risk of posting all those pictures and videos, as I'm sure do all the other
members of this forum.

And I think RLC should realize they can't do much to stop it. It's going to
happen one way or another. But, it is a wonderful form of advertising for them, no
matter what they think or do.

Huso, Hiddenwood, Happy, you guys sure are posting some
great pics. I especially like the funny faces. Unfortunately,
they're being taken down almost as fast as you can post them.

I REALLY like Irma and Polya is a lot of fun, too. Unfortunately,
five of the videos about them that corboblanc posted just last
Wednesday on MAB, are no longer available. He doesn't remember
which ones they were, because he just threw them up haphazardly.
He suggested that maybe one of you guys, or girls, might be
kind enough to re-share them, please. I would greatly appreciate
it if someone would.

They are the last two videos on page one and the first three
at the top of page two in this video thread. Thank you if you

Blowing it up and then cropping it doesn't accomplish anything more than increasing the size of the file and exaggerating the "blurriness". Think about taking a 35mm slide and blowing it up to an 8 x10 inch print. Bigger yes, better no. If you just stay with 720p, people who download your video can zoom in as much as they want. Chip, In most cases I would agree with you, the exception being
if you're going to crop the original video. If I understand the way
resolution works, if you start with an original at 1080p and crop
it in half, for example, you're going end up with a second generation
video with better resolution than if your original is 720p and you
crop that in half.

On the other hand, recording a 720p stream at 1080p, may not
give a better resolution to start with. What do you think, Chip?

I think that the windows of the cabinet of nora, are not completely closed, this plays to a few millimeters, which are enough to give a different reflection !!!! ilona in the open handles of the cabinet are level, while for nora, the right circle is a little lower than the left. it means that the cabinet door is not completely closed !!! in this story, it is rather the cabinet doors to look out, the location of the camera ......

Actually, I see at least two possible explanations. I'm sure other
people will come up with more. The most reasonable possibility
that I see is the glass doors are open a little bit more or closed a
bit more from one picture to the other, causing a different reflection
to be seen in each picture.

The other possibility is the entire unit has been moved off center
a bit, also causing different reflections to show in the glass.

It all depends on the size of Monitor and resolution settings. Everyone will get a different result as each user has their own setting preference.

If my math skills serve me like they used to, no matter what the resolution, 1.75 (or 175%) is exactly half the size of 350%. So, on ZoomIt's scale, using an apples-to-apples comparison, 350% would be 3.5, if there were a 3.5 on ZoomIt's scale. As a reference, 2.0 on ZoomIt's scale represents exactly double the screen size, or 200%, no matter what the resolution. 400% or 4.0 would be four times the screen size. I could be wrong. I have been known to be wrong before. There was that one time back in 1987.

And I appreciate that info, but I was referring to full-screen mode, the feature that RLC just took away from everyone except premium members. It's different from single wide mode. You were talking about short-cuts to different screen sizes, so I just added one that I had found.

That's too bad about Firefox, but even if I were a premium member, I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to even start creating an extension, in any browser. Do you know if it's possible to create user extensions in Firefox?

For what it's worth, probably not much since RLC committed its GIGANTIC business plan faux pas (it's called greed and greed causes a downward spiral), but you used be able to double-click on the screen itself to toggle between full-screen and single screen mode. Even the non-paying users.

This looks like the right place to be. I paid my $12 about 48 hours ago. I sent you my email and username, twice. I even logged out and logged in multiple times. But, I still don't see any added features: no additional pics or videos, no attachment center, no media gallery, etc. Did I do something wrong? I can show you where my bank made the payment. Do I have to do something more? Thanks for your help.
