When you look at the reported percentages of deaths and infections of Covid19 and compare that with the world population, those numbers are relatively small. Data from John Hopkins University found that, as of Tuesday, the COVID-19 pandemic had killed more than 4.55 million people and had infected some 229 million. June 2019 shows that the current global population is 7,577,130,400 people on earth, Our own estimate based on UN data shows the world's population surpassing 7.7 billion. So, using 229 million infections/7.7 billion population we get 2.97% of population infected. And using 4.55 million deaths/7.7 billion population we get .059% deaths (that is just a little over 1/2 of 1 %) However small, I still would rather be/get vaccinated that risk being either of those percentages. -

Bill Maher, Once Canceled by the Right, Takes Aim at the Left's Cancel Culture WWW.MSN.COM When it comes to progressives' radical ideas, Maher is saying what a majority of Americans are thinking. What his critics on the left didn't understand is that many traditional liberal Democrats believe the same things. Indeed, a silent majority of Americans dislike the radical ideas being peddled by Marxist progressives (white privilege, critical race theory and radical wealth redistribution among them) but are afraid to speak up. And afraid because those same progressives who talk endlessly about inclusion use bullying tactics to stifle dissent. And cancellation to kill it. That one phrase so resonates in this forum -
