What we are commenting on indirectly is the fact that unfortunately their relationship doesn't appear to be open enough and/or strong enough to allow this area to be discussed between them and therefore improved. In fact now I think about it, they don't really do much talking outside of what seems to be obvious day to day stuff eg "what shall we eat", and "look at the funny guy on TV".

I think they've had penetrative sex 3 or 4 times since the start of September. That's at most once in 10 days. If the sexual part of the relationship isn't over it's wound down to a state of extreme famine. Even if they perform when she comes back, I won't be convinced.

Agreed. It's usual for a normally healthy and attractive young couple in love to engage in some kind of sexual behaviour - if not actual sex - on a daily basis. Definitely issues in that department. I can't believe Paul no longer finds her attractive, so assume he is avoiding intimacy because it's stressful for him to be observed as he consistently under-delivers. The flip side to that is, as a lot of Leora's self-concept is wrapped up in her appearance, his apparent lack of interest would be undermining her confidence and pushing her to test whether she is still attractive to other men.

She had to check herself out several more times before leaving. It is like when you keep checking you've locked the door but I normally find 2 or 3 times enough, this is OCD on a whole other level. I'm certainly OCD - can't you tell that by my obsessive dedication to the cause? - but she's almost getting Sheldon like, what with the cleaning routine as well. Well I must say I expected something between them tonight.
