  1. If so it could well have all begun that day when she absolutely drenched herself in perfume and didn't come back for the night. A few weeks back. Still intrigued, though, by who that was at the door delivering the letter which he kept looking at and then possibly ended up being crumpled up and reassembled. Would a lover come by and hand it over to him? You wouldn't think so. The lying and cheating thing could just be him being paranoid because he has to go away again. Guess we have to put the pieces of this puzzle together ourselves over time....
  2. She went into the GR in her robe and as she moved to the side he stood behind her to block the veiw. He'd already done something similar while she was taking a shower . Then when he left the GR he turned off the lights while she was still in there. After that they sat in the LR in the dark. Now in the bedroom once again in the dark. It's clear he doesn't want anyone to see her in the light, if at all. Certainly looks like the dying embers of their time together
  3. Looks pretty ancient. Was it nicked from somewhere else? She's been in no state or position to do this during the last few days, surely?....far too much emotional upheaval...
  4. That sheet of paper that he was picking up and looking at and throwing down again would be the main clue to what's going on, I'd say. And if it was delivered by a would be suitor, for instance, it could have been that which was torn or crumpled up and re-assembled again by Leora later. The military letter is still possible and it might well be hand delivered and she's probably just trying to cope with his anxiety over that. The other suggestion is still possible too, I suppose, but it's too difficult to be sure either way. Both explanaitons are plausible.
  5. Don't think they've been back very long. I checked the hall a few times and their bags were not there and only reappeared just now. Plus the TV was off all day and only just came back on recently. Presumably they're out of sight for privacy reasons right now and who can blame them?
  6. Another of Leora's traits that Ilona has adopted; bending over accidentally on purpose to reveal how cheeky she can be when tackling mundane tasks around the house.
  7. Yeah Ilona's virtually got the Leora walk down to a tee. If she'd been studying to be an understudy she couldn't have done it better! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery as we know If she wants the role of Leora Mark II there's still a few challenges ahead of her, but she seems to be warming to her task.
  8. Fear not! They came back and I spotted them cuddling on the couch or was it snoozing on the sofa? Hard to tell in the night vision, but it was around evening time and not that late, So I'm sure the mutt would have got fed. I don't see them feeding her often, just now and again, but I'm sure they have a routine for that and the little charmer usually doesn't starve. Not so sure about the exercise regime, though. Occasionally I see them take her for a walk, but I wonder if that's enough, unless jumping up and down onto the couch in the GR is considered as doggie aerobics?...
  9. That should be a great resource for would-be translators/interpreters to get to grips with. Cheers!
  10. That thought had crossed my mind as well, especially in light of the current activities in Syria and the recent Turkish confrontation. It did look like something he was trying to deal with himself, more than a problem she was facing directly and if it had been about her infidelity he'd more likely have reacted with anger rather than mere sadness and gloom, though there's no certainty about that either of course. The way she was kissing him in the LR on the sofa before they moved to the GR was far more affectionate than usual and therefore had me wondering if something was amiss with him. It did look like she was consoling him rather than trying to seduce him with her charms, for instance. The later scenes and the possible explanation do make more sense than the affair theories. The phone sharing may have been tender moments together that she wanted him to take with him if and when he has to leave.
  11. You clearly saw more detail than I did. I saw them looking at her phone together and I saw her wiping his tears away, but I missed her tears and missed the crumpled pieces of paper from the purse. But that certainly explains a lot. Possibly letters that she'd written him, but could not bring herself to give him? Anyway, I thought it was only he that was upset, not she, but you may be right and it may have been a mutual sadness at the ending of a relationship, that was already in deep trouble, for some time, or so many of us believed. I thought it was just a black mood she was trying to coax him out of, but with the phone and the crumpled paper clues it could well have been the moment when she told him everything about her new interest or owned up about her loss of ardour for him.
  12. Some sad scenes today in both the LR and the GR, especially the latter. Looked like she was doing her best to cheer him up as he looked to be very down on morale and spirits. Of course we have no way of knowing what's troubling him, be it depression, bad news or an unresolved personal matter. Watched them for ages, but nothing but angst from him and apparently words of encouragement from her. It had started with kisses in the LR, but became more like a personal matter after that, so I guess we should cut the guy some slack for a bit as he's obviously not coping. Either with being in a goldfish bowl, or being openly pilloried for his lack of sexual accomplishments. I didn't stay around to see how it concluded, but it was clear they needed to go out to escape their surroundings and get a change of environment and to get some fresh air. (I got cut off before finishing this initially)
  13. Was this their response to complaints on this forum that they weren't seen together often enough in the LR?
  14. Good work! I'm sure the subjects would see the funny side of it. Next - Nelly and Paul playing their respective instruments, while Leora and Zoya play with their own 'instruments' as they face the musicians, sitting contentedly on the floor, showing their intense rapture, growing excitement and 'sense of occasion'! The mind boggles!
  15. A faster way to do her laundry and replenish her knickers drawer when getting low on supplies perhaps?! Dry after a quick shake and an hour or so's wait! Soaped, washed, rinsed and dried with zero outlay. Very resourceful young maiden.
  16. You're absolutely right, there. While we love to see some action in the apartments, the spin off is that we learn about the residents as people and sometimes take an interest in their welfare and humdrum lives, in some cases more humdrum than our own, but always interesting due to the cultural and personality differences or varieties in temperament. It's why we worry about Leora or Adriana or Dasha. They are lovely women and not always as happy or fulfilled as we feel they could be, perhaps less so Adriana. And that interest extends towards Zoya and one or two others. I think we've learned a lot about how the other half live and how liberating a free woman can be, such as Nelly or Masha, wondering if it will last or not. We also probably don't take as much interest in the males in most apartments, for obvious reasons and at times tend to judge them quite harshly, knowing as men ourselves, how their actions and behaviour are far easier to criticise than some of the women who remain mysteries in so many ways, which is hardly surprising and one of life's eternal joys in many ways. When they go it's no wonder people go back to the archives to review their times on the site and most of us wish them well when they leave, as all good things must come to an end, sometime.
  17. Looks like a Mexican Corona beer to me, but packaging styles vary sometimes, so I can't be certain. Other brands may imitate the more popular bottle designs and shapes and so might fruit juice manufacturers
  18. Good luck with that! She can take us to paradise. Then again she can be cold as ice! If she's in a mind to show it, she'll certainly show it! Sometimes her weekend rules can be totally different from weekday ones....
  19. Shows promise! A promise of heaven, perhaps, one day soon? That is a mighty good shot! With Ilona showing some 'Leora-like' signs of exhibitionism and lack of inhibition, we may well be rewarded for suffering the indignities of following the more reluctant femmes (and some of their partners) in other apartments. Ilona and Sara may well be close to revealing their own potential for sensuality and self-discovery. But three's a crowd and it remains to be seen how the third flat-mate will respond to that greater show of openness from the other pair.....
  20. All the same, while it does not show Adriana being taken care of or even taking care of herself, she comes across as a caring partner and one with few inhibitions or squeamishness unlike some women we know. It's always fascinating to see how the other half live, isn't it? We're gaining some real insights into the diverse nature of young men and women on this site as they are almost all different and beset with issues or fancy-free, running the whole gamut. These two have always seemed a well adjusted couple to me and sooner or later I'm sure we'll see Adriana being given full rein to her erotic urges once again.
  21. What a great apartment this is for holding a party. So much space and such nice hosts! And the guests very much pass muster as well!
  22. Fair comment, I don't entirely disagree that perhaps my comments were too sweeping, but the emphasis was on the word 'major' and perhaps the remaining recalcitrant nations have at last fallen into line. It took some of them seemingly forever! But while the USA remains aloof and Myanmar may soon adopt the ways of the rest of Asia I'm still hearing repeated references to miles and other old measures, maybe not so much weights as to measures, coming out of the UK whose citizens were slow to adopt what the rest of Europe embraced long ago. The currency was the one they could not avoid, but it's an awfully long time since they went metric in the UK and it should have happened in full, rather than waiting for it to seep through the consciousness of the population as the younger ones inevitably took over. It's still incomprehensible that the US, which disregarded conventional English spellings of words, no matter how well established, inventing its own, does its best to sway the rest of the English-speaking world into adopting its 'simpler' spelling model, yet declines to follow the rest of the world when it comes to these other universally accepted standards. I still maintain that it's a highly insular nation and that this is but a symptom of that imperialistic attitude to the rest of the world. Liberia? Maybe their oil tankers would take too long to refit! But then I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole!!!
  23. Saturday Night Fever it ain't! He's the passive one and she's the one doing most of the work. I wouldn't go as far as to say that there's no hope for him, if he wants to be helped and knows he needs to be, but at his relatively youthful age he should be good to go several times on a Saturday at home alone with her, giving robust and vigorous penetration. Many couples don't have such prolonged hours of privacy to put to good use. Some have to squeeze in what they can when they can. These two don't even have visitors to worry about, just themselves. Nothing wrong with the lanquid style now and again of course, but the insistence on hiding things from view seems to act as either a huge inhibitor (for him) or a limitation on what they can try. At this age experimentation is common, but we don't see a lot of that, if any. There still seems to be too little foreplay, romantic or affectionate arousal, at least from what I can tell. Perhaps the words they are saying to one another are enough to stimulate their imaginations and get things under way. But if they were more comfortable with, say, changing positions a lot, like we see from Sasha/Masha and Nelly/Bogdan, to keep things moving along and avoid repetition, it could certainly help. I agree that we are in no position to criticise, especially as most of us have been there and done that, taking our own sweet time to get things right, and always striving to get better and more innovative since the days of our callow youth. We are not seeing much of that from these two. I dare say she'd be open to all kinds of things, given that opening. Yet they seem satisfied, lying together now and unselfconsciously looking at their phones, each under the close attention of the other. So I guess we should live and let live and hope they'll come to their senses. Heaven knows there's enough examples for them to follow with both using smartphones and the net all of the time. Sigh That rear view of her, though, was for far longer and at a much better vantage point than a lot of what we've seen before, when it was happening in fumbling style in the BeR.
  24. Modern, sensible, sane, yes. But sadly, standard no. So many major nations still use imperial measurements. Remarkable in this so called modern, digital age. Some use imperial measures for some things and not for others. Given that we now live in an era of instant communications and a virtual global village, some nations are as insular as they ever were during the days of horse and cart and their insistence on rigidly adhering to old customs for reasons of 'integrity' are baffling and in line with the thinking of a feudal village. While most of the world is focussed on 400, 800 and 1600 metre races in athletics and up to 3200m in horse races, some countries still talk about miles and watching horse pass the furlong poles! And how many pounds someone weighs rather than kilos. They simply won't give an inch! So metrification came and went and passed a great number of countries by! They shut their eyes and hoped it wouldn't 'happen to' them......
  25. From what we are reading about his guitar playing it's probably a tuning fork that he needs to employ the most, but if he's checking to see if she's done, by using his scaled-down version of a BBQ fork on her rump then this situation looks a tad scary, were either of them to slip. We know that he likes to give her the odd playful slap on the derrierre, but the fork - 'I just happened to be holding it in my hand at the time, Officer' - might be a moment of frivolity that could get out of hand! And before anyone else says it, the knives have been out for him for ages, so why not extend that to forks!
