so either one of two things are true. Ellie really is a crazy heartless person (highly likely regardless) or something else is going regarding this situation on we don't know about. Like she was literally caught by Sayn with a video of her fucking the guy. She wasn't caught in the act by him or Sayn wasn't just told by a friend etc. No he showed her a video that was posted on the internet. She KNOWS anything she does in the appartement is recorded and could get into Sayn's hands, so then why would she openly masturbate with her phone in her hand where the cameras can clearly see who she's talking to if she doesn't want Sayn to know about it? Like i can totally get cheaters like her being dumb and reckless, but this is basically her wanting to be caught again. i agree. She's a narcissist though, so she doesn't care about doing bad stuff until it reflects badly on her. Now it did and she's figuring out that the safest route to not upset her self image (and image infront of others) is to appease Sayn and prolong the relationship. Every step she's doing is in the interest of herself. So she's going to hang in there a little longer so she can end the relationship not because of her cheating but because of something completely unrelated. Don't be surprised if in the coming weeks or months, when things calm down and seem to be forgotten, they'll all of sudden fight for the most random things. She'll make sure that she finds a way to end the relationship because of him

Sayn will one day reflect on this mistake with anger or laughter. He's trying to save the already dead relationship. But i get him, he's in denial of what being cheated on means. He'll find out one day. Ellie is using this opportunity to lengthen the relationship so she can break up with him another day unrelated to her cheating. Basically saves her from the "shame" of having to accept that her cheating ended the relationship. It'll end on her terms now. You don't go from almost a week of cuddling with another guy to all of sudden being in love with Sayn again. She's acting for the sake of her dignity (or i should say what she thinks is left of it) and him not running around telling everyone she knows that she cheated on him

looking at this scene he should really ask her why she's so sad. people react differently to different situations. I've been cheated on before and the things you say and do when the person who did this to you ends up playing with your vulnerable state are stupid.
