    I highly suspect people in the UK from the older generations ate tripe too ...tripe was what was fed to dogs back int he day. Still gross though. Tripe and trotters are the worst things for me to see being cooked.

    Oh for sure this meal preference is something passed down from the parents although that said chicken feet are good for protein and is it collogen (I think) which does something for the ageing process, presumably slows it down, but still, I can think of better things to eat to be honest. St Helenian's from the Ascension Islands still eat Tripe ...I can think of nothing worse ...not even chicken feet but Tripe is the closest thing to me to eating your own shit because it certainly smells like a proper stinky shit.
