Parkinson was the cover girl of Playboy in December 1991, and again in May 1993, appearing in nude pictorials in both issues. She also appeared in a feature newsstand publication entitled "Playboy Presents Dian Parkinson". Parkinson was featured in her own 1993 Celebrity Centerfold video. The following year (1994), Parkinson filed a lawsuit against host Bob Barker for sexual harassment regarding forced sexual acts in the late 1980s. She claimed a three-year sexual relationship extorted by threats of firing from The Price Is Right. The suit was withdrawn in April 1995, Parkinson claiming it was too costly and had taken a toll on her health.

She co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Spike TV and joined the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife. On May 26, 2020, Teigen announced she was removing her breast implants on her Instagram. Teigen said she wished to lay on her belly again at night and zip dresses in comfort behind the reasons to get them removed. Teigen revealed to Glamour UK in March 2020 that she underwent the surgery when she was 20. She says she had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line when she had them done.
