Yes. And this is not to be in any way racist, but Cosby. Now, I'm a progressive older white male. Perhaps I was shielded or whatever. But to put it in perspective, These were my "men of similar backgrounds who became prominent in my time" heroes. So, amazing black men that overcame or, took advantage of, the feeling of the times. And they appeared to overcome great odds in the 60's 70's 80's.
Probably gonna get a black eye for this but in my opinion, the fact that they were African-American took a back seat to the fact that they were men and they shamed their race in one fell swoop with their actions, and my respect. Who has ever had an opinion about it? Mostly men, arguing if O.J. did it for racial reasons. Because the dude was white? LMAO!
Just like any man or any person or thing, O.J., and Cosby were men who unfortunately happened to be black, that were given power beyond what they ever dreamed, and as they say, power corrupted, absolutely.
